A Texas lawyer was shot and killed exterior a McDonald’s after attempting to relax an indignant buyer, police say.

Jeffrey Limmer, 46, died after the incident in Houston on Saturday night and his attacker fled the scene in a pickup truck.

The shopper was upset with staff over his order and demanded a refund. Mr Limmer tried to calm them down, in accordance with native information outlet ABC13.

Police say the struggle went exterior and Mr Limmer pushed the shopper to the bottom.

The shopper then went to his automotive and pulled out a gun and allegedly shot him earlier than fleeing the scene, detectives say.

In an interview with ABC13, Mr Limmer’s sister Jennifer Thomas praised her brother.

“He liked fiercely his household and pals,” she mentioned. “All the time laughing, making jokes, and simply loving life.”
