A British man has died in a snowboarding accident in France.
The person, who’s but to be recognized, was on a visit to the resort of Avoriaz, in France.
In response to native media, the person was in his 60s and hit a tree at excessive velocity after swerving to keep away from a bunch of individuals.
The incident befell round 3pm native time on 26 March.
Regardless of the efforts of the mountain rescue crew to resuscitate him, he was pronounced {dead} on the scene.
A fellow skier, who was mentioned to have witnessed the tragedy, informed the MailOnline: “The person misplaced management on a really tight, icy nook of a blue run. He appeared to realize management and keep on, then he misplaced management once more, heading straight on via the online indicating signal to point out the proper flip.
“As I received not far away, I seemed again and noticed him mendacity on a tree trunk surrounded by different bushes and rocks.”

A spokesman for the Overseas, Commonwealth and Growth Workplace (FCDO) mentioned: “We’re supporting the household of a British man who died in France and are in touch with the native authorities.”
Avoriaz is taken into account a high snowboarding vacation spot and is considered one of 13 ski resorts within the Portes du Soleil area.
Avoriaz have been approached for remark.
