British man dies in snowboarding accident in France ‘after hitting tree’ | World Information

A British man has died in a snowboarding accident in France.

The person, who’s but to be recognized, was on a visit to the resort of Avoriaz, in France.

In response to native media, the person was in his 60s and hit a tree at excessive velocity after swerving to keep away from a bunch of individuals.

The incident befell round 3pm native time on 26 March.

A spokesman for the Overseas, Commonwealth and Growth Workplace (FCDO) mentioned: “We’re supporting the household of a British man who died in France and are in touch with the native authorities.”

Avoriaz is taken into account a high snowboarding vacation spot and is considered one of 13 ski resorts within the Portes du Soleil area.

Avoriaz have been approached for remark.
