Accident at work in one of the production plants in Chojnice. A metal weight weighing approximately one and a half tons fell on the man. The injured person was taken to hospital.
The Guard received a report on Friday just before 1 p.m. that an accident had occurred at one of the production plants on Przemysłowa Street in Chojnice.
– An approximately 1.5-ton metal weight fell on the man. When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the employees used a special overhead crane to remove the element from the injured person, said senior captain Arkadiusz Kulesza, press officer of the Chojnice firefighters.
He suffered bodily injuries
The injured man was transported to hospital. – His condition is stable. He was conscious. He suffered leg and arm injuries, the firefighter added.
Two fire brigades and police worked on site.
