Police officers detained a drunk woman who damaged four parked cars on Wyzwolenia Street in Ciechanów. The woman had more than two times the legal limit of alcohol in her system. The 40-year-old was charged after sobering up.
The incident took place last Sunday in Ciechanów, on Wyzwolenia Street. The duty officer of the Ciechanów command received information from a witness of the event, who saw the driver of the Fiat damage the vehicles parked on the road. Traffic officers rushed to the spot and arrested the woman.

“Preliminary findings at the scene showed that the driver of the Fiat on a straight section of the road, while performing an evasive maneuver, hit a parked Seat and a Skoda. Then the Skoda hit the Ford vehicle, and the Audi parked in front of it. As the police officer pointed out, “an irresponsible driver can be imprisoned for up to two years for driving while intoxicated.” She is also facing a hefty fine and a driving ban. The woman will also face consequences for causing damage to other vehicles.
Police are appealing to drivers
“We would like to remind you that any amount of alcohol drunk – even the smallest one – reduces the speed of reaction, causes incorrect assessment of distance and speed and, above all, reduces concentration. We appeal to drivers to be careful, because drunk driving is a real threat to the life or health of the driver himself, as well as other traffic participants” – appealed to the drivers of the younger aspirant Zarembska.
