Dr. Sławomir Dudek referred to the issue of spending money outside the state budget by the government. – Transparency of public finances is the basis of democracy. Behind everything that the state does, there is money somewhere – he said on Tuesday in “One on One”. He noted that “if not for the financial invoice, we would not know that the state is listening to citizens and we would not know that it is program Pegasus“. – If the Pegasus program had been bought with these funds from the parallel budget, we would not have known that it existed until now – added Dudek.

“Financial transparency means that we as a society control what our money is spent on,” he said.

– Each of us elects an MP who defends the matters we care about, defends our region, and here it turns out that in parliament, MPs, our representatives, our supervisory board, which oversees public finances, do not decide how they are divided expenses, because the prime minister created a parallel budget – an spending paradise – said Dudek.

– Just as dishonest companies take out their tax books to countries so that the tax office does not see how much profit they have, what did the prime minister do? He drew hundreds of billions of zlotys from the constitutional budget to some parallel budget, because there he can spend public money on a notebook or even on a napkin, he assessed.

He reminded that “the government sent a financial report to the Sejm, in which it says that the state budget deficit is PLN 12 billion.”

He added that “the real deficit is PLN 100 billion”. – So the government sent 12 percent of the truth to the Sejm. Economists know this, but the society is being swindled that there is a deficit of PLN 12 billion – said Dudek.
