Police officers from Częstochowa are explaining the circumstances of the death of a man whose body was fished out of the water in the “Pacyfik” water reservoir. It is not known who the deceased was. That’s why officers are appealing for help from anyone who may know the identity of the man. It is known that he was riding a black bicycle, the photo of which was published by the police.
On Sunday afternoon, from the water in “Pacyfik”, the basin at ul. Jadwiga in Częstochowa, the body of a man was fished out. “The prosecutor ordered an autopsy. Investigators from the Criminal Department of the 1st Police Station in Częstochowa are establishing the identity of the man and explaining the circumstances of his death,” reads the police release.
According to the police, the deceased was about 60-70 years old and about 170 centimeters tall. He had short gray hair and a gray mustache. “He was wearing black panties, he could probably be wearing a denim jacket, a navy blue jacket, denim pants, black sports shoes with white stripes” – inform the officers. And they add that the man was riding a black bicycle. His photo was published by uniformed officers.

“We appeal to people who witnessed this event, or who may have any information about the man’s identity, to contact the duty officer of the Police Headquarters in Częstochowa, tel. 47-858-11-50. In particular, we are asking the woman who was the first to contact on a drifting body,” the officers said in a statement.
