On the national road number 60, in the town of Bielsk, the driver of a truck transporting pigs lost control of the car on a bend in the road and drove into a ditch, said Krystyna Kowalska from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Płock. The difficulties lasted several hours.

The movement of vehicles on the national road No. 60 in Bielsko has been completely cleared, Kowalska said on Monday afternoon. A few hours earlier, the 32-year-old man driving the truck lost control of the vehicle and drove into the ditch, and the whole set, the tractor with the semi-trailer, overturned on its side.

The animals were moved to another vehicle

According to Kowalska, the semi-trailer contained pigs – a total of 160 animals. After the truck overturned, it was necessary to secure them, i.e. transfer them to another vehicle. – This was the main reason for the difficulties, because due to the movement of animals in the place where the incident occurred, a temporary shuttle traffic of cars was introduced – she said.
