The police are investigating the circumstances of an unusual accident that happened in Drawsko Pomorskie (Zachodniopomorskie). The driver drove into the gas station building for unclear reasons. The breathalyzer showed that he was drunk.
As the junior aspirant Karolina Żych from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Drawsko Pomorskie told us, on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, after midnight, a patrol of the Drawsko police, passing through Gdyńska Street, noticed a damaged door to the IMSO gas station.
Inside the demolished building, surprised officers noticed a Skoda Octavia vehicle. They also found a 40-year-old driver who could not clearly explain how the accident happened.
According to Żych, the preliminary findings of the police show that the driver was sober at the time of the incident. Blood was drawn from him for testing. “Currently, investigations are underway to determine the cause and course of the incident,” said the police officer.
No one was injured in the incident.
