PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński spoke on Wednesday in Łódź about migrants. He argued that if the issue of their relocation “was resolved against our intentions, against the intentions of the majority of our society, it would change our lives and not for the better.” The Deputy Prime Minister also spoke about the Polish People’s Party and its president, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

President of PiS, deputy prime minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski he spoke on Wednesday at a meeting in Łódź about the EU debate on the migration pact. He said that if the issue of relocation of migrants “were resolved against our intentions, against the intentions of the majority of our society, it would really change our lives and not for the better.”

– It’s not about some people who come here to work and have the appropriate documents – he said. – It’s not about refugees either, i.e. those who are running away from real dangers, from war. It’s about those who want to get to Europe illegally, looking for a better and, above all, easy place to live here, he added.

KONKRET24: Kaczyński about Somalis in Finland. “This narrative is not about numbers.”

Kaczyński assessed that many migrants do not work and that some of them disturb order and security in individual countries. – Starting from those who come here to conduct terrorist activities (…) to those who are simply – to use everyday language – causing trouble – he continued.

Kaczyński: there is a question: is it worth imitating Western Europe?

In his opinion, “this is a phenomenon that occurs in virtually all countries where there is a larger group of them, and today this is most of the countries of Western Europe.” – There is a question: is it worth imitating Western Europe? In many cases, in many matters, it is undoubtedly worth it, he said.

– There are many institutions, procedures, and various types of behavior that are definitely worth bringing to us here. But is it worth repeating their mistakes? Is it worth adopting the principle that if they made a big mistake, we must make it too? If they feel some sense of remorse for some part of their history, even though we had a completely different history, should we also feel this sense of remorse? Well, I want to say clearly that no, it’s not worth it. Definitely not worth it. And it is certainly not worth doing anything that would disturb the value that has always been valued in Poland. Maybe even overvalued at times in our history. This value is peace. This value is the ability to live a normal life, he added.

Kaczyński about PSL and Kosiniak-Kamysz

Kaczyński also spoke a lot about the Polish People’s Party. He said, among other things, that “they want one thing: they want us to be removed from power and for them to be in power, so that they can derive various benefits from this power as usual.”

According to the PiS president, the People’s Party members are not representatives of the Polish countryside. – They represent those who, in the complicated 1990s, and it can be dated back to the end of the 1980s, made money in various ways and privatized various things, he said.

He accused PSLthat he carries out the orders of the Civic Platform and gave as an example the current president of the People’s Party, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, who during the joint government with PO – as Kaczyński said – took upon himself the increase of the retirement age or the issue of OFE. – People from the Civic Platform themselves talked about it, here I will quote some colloquial language, please forgive me, this guy took the most difficult matters upon himself. – Some people explained to me that he was young then, thirty years old. Ladies and gentlemen, This is the age of Christ. It’s high time to be wise, Kaczyński continued.

He also addressed voters who are hostile to PiS but do not want to vote for PO and are considering choice Third Way. – Ladies and gentlemen, this is the same route. Exactly the same as it was and we must remember that all the time, he said.
