Mariusz Kamiński testified before the investigative commission into the case of envelope elections. The interrogation had a stormy start. After one of the chairman's questions, he stood up and left the room. After a few minutes he returned.
In his testimony, Kamiński answered, among other things, questions about his decisions related to the preparation of the elections and about not signing the contract with the Polish Security Printing Works.
2. The US Senate passed the aid package for Ukraine
The US Senate passed an aid package for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan worth $95 billion. The act was adopted by an overwhelming majority with the support of senators of both parties. The Senate's decision ends the dispute over aid for Ukraine that has been going on for over half a year.
The long-awaited bill will now go to the desk of President Joe Biden, who has announced that he will sign it immediately.
3. Prime Minister of Great Britain in Warsaw
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak met in Warsaw, among others. with the head of the Polish government, Donald Tusk, the Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.
The British Prime Minister said that Polish airspace will be patrolled by Typhoon fighters. He also announced that by 2030 his country will spend 2.5 percent. GDP for defense.
4. The court decided to arrest Leszek Czarnecki
The District Court in Warsaw dismissed the prosecutor's complaint about the failure to impose arrest on businessman Leszek Czarnecki – his representative, Roman Giertych, announced on social media.
This is a case related to GetBack. The second of Czarnecki's attorneys, attorney Jacek Dubois, said in an interview with tvn24.pl that Tuesday's court decision is no longer subject to further appeals and that there are no grounds to arrest the businessman in this case.

5. The sky “burned” over Greece
