A 67-year-old man was hospitalized after being electrocuted in Grabów Ryckie (Lublin Voivodeship). The man hit the medium voltage line with his semi-trailer and was electrocuted. The police appeal for safety at work.
The accident occurred on Monday (December 16) around 1:30 p.m. in Grabów Rycki.
A 67-year-old driver of a truck with a semi-trailer brought goods to one of the fields in Grabów Rycki. “While he was working, his vehicle got stuck and another truck driver helped him out of the muddy area using a tow rope. While pulling the vehicle out, the raised load box of the semi-trailer caught the medium voltage line, causing a short circuit in the electrical installation, as a result of which the man was electrocuted” – provided by aspirant Łukasz Filipek from the police in Ryki.
The injured man was taken to hospital with injuries. Ryc police officers are explaining the circumstances and causes of this unfortunate accident.
“We appeal to you to exercise particular caution and follow occupational health and safety rules while working,” the uniformed officers appealed.
