Secret documents found with the bodies of Hamas terrorists contain information showing that they intended to kill or take hostage civilians, including school children, reports the American television website NBC News. “This level of detail would make anyone involved in intelligence matters drop their jaw,” said an anonymous source in the station’s Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
“Top secret” documents were found on the bodies of killed Hamas terrorists by Israeli rescue services and made available to some media, including the American station NBC News. They contain detailed maps and information showing, among other things, that Hamas intended to kill or take hostage civilians, including school children.
According to Israeli officials, the documents show that Hamas systematically collected intelligence on each kibbutz near the Gaza border and created separate plans to attack each village. These plans included clear guidelines regarding the killing of civilians, including women and children.
Secret plans of Hamas
Among other things, a detailed plan to attack Kibbutz Kfar Saad was found. NBC writes that one of the pages of the secret documents, titled “Top Secret”, presents a step-by-step plan to attack him. One Hamas unit was to secure the eastern part of the kibbutz, and the other – the western part. The militants were ordered to search the school and youth center, take hostages and “kill as many people as possible,” NBC reported.
The plans included ordering attacks on the local dentist’s office, supermarket and canteen. “This level of detail would make anyone involved in intelligence matters drop their jaw,” said an anonymous NBC source in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Another official, also speaking on condition of anonymity, also told NBC that he had “never seen such detailed planning” for a massive terrorist attack.
Israeli public television Kan revealed the contents of one of the Hamas documents found after the terrorist attack in southern Israel. It follows that the attackers of the kibbutz were to kill as many civilians as possible, take hostages, resist the security forces and wait for further orders.
