This nightmare does not end, children in Gaza are dying of hunger. The photos in the material are drastic. No electricity, no food and no hope. When humanitarian aid is dropped from planes into the water, people drown trying to reach it.

Little patients see doctors in the intensive care unit at Kamal Adwan hospital in northern Gaza every day. Two-month-old Leila is extremely malnourished, weighing only two kilograms. – I haven't had a shift recently where I didn't have to deal with three or four such cases. Patients come to us in poor or very poor condition. The result is always the same: death, said Ahmed Al-Ali, a Palestinian nurse. Hunger and desperation are everyday life in Gaza. Palestinians wait tensely for food dropped from the air, and when it falls into the sea, the crowd rushes into the water, several people drown. Humanitarian organizations warn that only one fifth of the aid needed is currently reaching the enclave. The inhabitants feed on, among other things, wild plants.

Israel is preparing to make its next move

– In this darkest hour, the international community cannot continue to ignore Israel's goal to expel the Palestinians from Palestine in violation of international law. The world's failure to hold Israel accountable has exposed the genocide in Gaza, said Francesca Albanese, the UN envoy for human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory. Israel claims that aid organizations and the UN are responsible for the humanitarian disaster in Gaza. It is also preparing for another, very serious move – carrying out an offensive in Rafah, where over a million civilians are sheltering. The Israeli military argues that this is Hamas' last stronghold. Up to four battalions of terrorists may be hiding among the exhausted Palestinians. However, the operation in Rafah raises doubts among the allies. – The number of civilian casualties in Gaza is far too high and the amount of aid is too little. Gaza is suffering from a humanitarian disaster and the situation is only getting worse. The safety of one and a half million civilians in Rafah is the top priority of the United States, said LLoyd Austin, United States Secretary of Defense.

Dispute between the United States and Israel

According to the Americans, Hamas can be destroyed using more economical means. Tensions between allies increased significantly after the United States abstained from voting on a UN Security Council resolution demanding a ceasefire in Gaza. In response, Prime Minister Netanyahu canceled the trip of the Israeli delegation to Washington. – I think this is a very bad move. The worst thing about it is that it encourages Hamas to take a hard line and believe that international pressure will prevent Israel from releasing the hostages and destroying Hamas, says Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister. Ultimately, the meeting was postponed. The Americans also hope that Israel and Hamas will return to the table in Qatar, where ceasefire negotiations were held. They were torn down by terrorists who demanded a complete end to the Israeli invasion.
