Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first, second and third degree meteorological warnings. It is also in force in some parts of the country RCB alert.

Orange alerts against strong winds apply in voivodeships West Pomeranian Voivodeshipin the following counties: Kamienski, Gryfice, Kołobrzeg, Koszalin, Koszalin and Sławno and Pomeranian in counties: SłupskSłupsk, Lębork, Wejherowo and Puck.

According to the Institute, strong winds with an average speed of up to 55 kilometers per hour, with gusts of up to 100 km/h, are forecast from the west. The warnings will be valid until 9 p.m. on Monday.

Forecasters also issued first-degree strong wind warnings. Valid in the following voivodeships:

As reported, strong winds with an average speed of up to 40 km/h, gusting to approximately 70-80 km/h, blowing from the west are forecast in these regions.

In most regions, strong winds are expected between 11 p.m. on Sunday and 2 p.m. on Monday, in Warmia and Masuria, Mazovia, Świętokrzyskie Province, Lublin Province, Podkarpacie, Lesser Poland and Łódź Province between midnight and 6 p.m. on Monday, or between 2 and 8 p.m. on Monday. In the Opole region, the alarms will apply from midnight to 2 p.m. on Monday, and in Silesia from 2-16 on the same day.

In parts of the country, roads will become slippery. First degree warnings were issued for the following voivodeships: Podlasiefor the following counties: Suwałki, Suwałki, Sejny, Augustów, Sokółka, Białystok, Białystok, Hajnówka, Bielsko, Moniecki and Warmian-Masurian Voivodeshipfor the following counties: Ełk, Olecko and Gołdap.

Light freezing rain and/or drizzle causing black ice are forecast. Alerts will expire at midnight.

Third degree warnings against an increase in air temperature, causing thaw and melting of snow cover in the mountains and foothill areas, were issued in the following voivodeships:

An increase in air temperature is expected, causing thaw and melting of the snow cover. The minimum temperature will range from 0 to 2 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature will range from 4 to 7 degrees Celsius. Total rainfall will reach 10 to 15 liters per square meter. The wind will blow at an average speed of 25 to 35 kilometers per hour, with gusts up to 60 km/h, from the southwest.

In Silesia, the warnings will come into force at 15 on Sunday and will expire at 16 on Monday. In Małopolska, alerts will apply from 4 p.m. on Sunday until 16 the next day.

In the southern part of the province Lower Silesia Lower level warnings against snowmelt were also announced. They concern the following poviats: Lubań, Jelenia Góra and Kamienna Góra.

As a result of the increase in temperature, the snow cover in the mountains and foothill areas is forecast to melt. Thermometers will show a minimum of 2 to 5 degrees C, and a maximum of 3 to 8 degrees C. Total rainfall will range from 5 to 10 l/sq m. The average wind speed will reach 20-35 km/h, with gusts up to 70 km/h, from the west.

Alerts will be valid from 7 on Sunday until 7 on Monday.

In the province Silesian moderate rainfall, sometimes heavy, up to 30 liters of water per square meter is forecast in the Żywiec district. The alerts will be valid between 2 p.m. on Sunday and 4 a.m. on Monday.

The third degree meteorological warning predicts the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena causing very large or catastrophic damage over a large area and threatening life.
