IMWM meteorological warnings 27/04. Where frosts will occur

IMWM issued first degree meteorological warnings against frost. Alarms are in force in 13 voivodeships. Forecasts show that the temperature at the ground will drop to -2 degrees Celsius. On Saturday, snowmelt may pose a threat.

Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued meteorological warnings.

IMWM warnings – frosts

First degree warnings against frost were issued in the following voivodeships:

  • West Pomeranian Voivodeshipoutside northern counties;
  • Lubuskiein northern counties;
  • Greater Polandin the north of the region;
  • Warmian-Masurian Voivodeshipin the following counties: GoÅ‚dap, Olecko, EÅ‚k;
  • Podlasie;
  • Masovian Voivodeshipin the east of the region;
  • ÅšwiÄ™tokrzyskieoutside the following poviats: Konecki and WÅ‚oszczowa;
  • Lublin Province;
  • Podkarpackie;
  • Lesser Poland;
  • Silesianin the following counties: Bielsko, Bielsko-BiaÅ‚a, Å»ywiec and Cieszyn;
  • Opole provincein Nysa County;
  • Lower Silesiain the following counties: Karkonosze, Jelenia Góra.

In the region, the air temperature is forecast to drop to approximately 1 degree Celsius, and at ground level to -2 degrees Celsius.

The warnings will come into force at 10pm on Friday and will expire at 10pm. 7 on Saturday.

IMWM warnings – snowmelt

Level 1 warnings have also been issued for thaws. Valid in the province. Lesser Polandin the Tatra district.
