CBŚP police officers together with officers from Jastrzębie-Zdrój detained five people in the investigation of a gang related to Jastrzębie hooligans. The gang distributed drugs in Silesia, mainly the psychoactive substance Alfa PiHP.
There are already 25 suspects in the entire case, facing more than 70 charges. Investigators secured the property of the suspects worth almost PLN 1.5 million. The proceedings are supervised by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jastrzębie-Zdrój.
As communicated CBSP In a statement, recently, officers of the Silesian CBŚP, in cooperation with police officers from Jastrzębie-Zdrój, with the support of CBŚP officers from Wrocław, carried out activities during which they detained five people aged 26-35. In addition, a 21-year-old resident of Jastrzębie-Zdrój was brought to the prosecutor’s office for activities from the prison.
During the searches, the officers seized a chemical substance submitted for specialist tests, as well as documents and electronic equipment.
They heard the charges
The suspects were brought to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jastrzębie-Zdrój, where they heard charges related to participation in an organized criminal group, drug offences, including placing large amounts of psychoactive substances on the market.
One of the suspects, a 32-year-old man, was charged with making threats of beatings against a woman. The suspect threatened to break his legs with a telescopic baton if the victim did not distribute drugs for the criminal group. In addition, the detainee was charged with making threats against the man in order to influence the content of his explanations. The man allegedly threatened the victim several times with a machete and a baseball bat, wanting to force him to falsely testify that the previous explanations in these proceedings had been forced on him by CBŚP officers.
Five suspects were arrested by the court. Marketing large quantities of drugs is punishable by up to 12 years in prison.
In the entire investigation, which has been conducted since last year, there are already 25 suspects who have heard more than 70 allegations. In the course of the proceedings, the investigators secured property belonging to the suspects in the form of real estate, cars and money with a total value of over PLN 1.5 million. Further arrests in the case are possible.
