Katowice. Judgment for members of Psycho Fans. 12 years in prison for “Maślak” and 15 years for “Lucky”

The District Court in Katowice (Silesian Voivodeship) sentenced Maciej M., ps. Maślak, and 15 years to Łukasz L., ps. Lucky – the main defendant in the trial of the gang of Ruch Chorzów hooligans – Psycho Fans. The so-called Crown Witnesses obtained extraordinary leniency.

The court began delivering its verdict on Thursday in the group’s main trial, which is likely to take several days. This biggest Psycho Fans lawsuit has been going on since 2019.

Nearly 50 people have sat in the dock, accused by the prosecutor’s office of, inter alia, murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, beating, participation in the so-called set-ups, robberies and thefts or dealing in large amounts of drugs.

The court found them guilty

“Maślak” was found guilty of almost all of the crimes he was accused of, including for leading the Psycho Fans group. The court acquitted him of the charge of obstruction of justice. Sentenced to 15 years in prison, “Lucky” was found guilty of, among other things, participation in beatings with the use of dangerous tools and theft of GKS Katowice flags.

Lukasz B., ps. Baluś – one of the so-called small crown witnesses, who gave testimony incriminating his companions for committed crimes, was sentenced to four years in prison, suspended for 10 years, another small crown witness, Maciej S. – three years suspended for 10 years.
