Tragic fire in Koszalin. A 37-year-old man died in a single-family house. Due to the tragedy, the police detained the 43-year-old owner of the apartment, who was arguing and intoxicated in a nearby store.
The house fire at Bohaterów Westerplatte Street occurred on Saturday before midnight. The services found a 37-year-old man dead in one of the rooms.
The owner of the apartment was arrested
– In connection with the incident, the police detained a 43-year-old man – the owner of the apartment – who was arguing in a nearby store, he was drunk. He was detained because we don't really know what exactly happened there. He spent the night in police custody, where he sobered up, says the press spokeswoman for the Police Headquarters in Koszalin, Superintendent Monika Kosiec. He adds: – We are waiting for the opinion of a fire expert who was supposed to come today and take action and possibly indicate what could have caused the fire. The cause of the 37-year-old's death will be known after an autopsy.
Apart from the man, other people lived in the house, including a woman and a child. All were evacuated. The 43-year-old's apartment burned down completely.
