PLN 5,000 and 15 penalty points were awarded to a 46-year-old resident of Rzeszów who was detained by policemen from the “Speed” group from Kraśnik (Lubelskie Voivodeship), who was driving a passenger car at 242 kilometers per hour on the S-19 expressway. This is not the first such offense of this driver.
Police officers from the Kraśnik traffic police on duty as part of the “Speed” group on the S-19 expressway near the Modliborzyce exit noticed a passenger Audi, the driver of which – according to the police – exceeded the speed limit twice. – The measurement showed 242 kilometers per hour in a place where the permitted speed is 120 kilometers per hour – reports junior aspirant Paweł Cieliczko, press officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Kraśnik.
The officers detained the driver. It turned out to be a 46-year-old resident of Rzeszów.
A fine in the conditions of recidivism: five thousand zlotys to be paid, 15 penalty points on the account
As the midshipman Cieliczko reports, it turned out that the man was punished for exceeding the speed limit after the entry into force of the new tariff. – For this reason, in accordance with the applicable regulations, he received a mandate in conditions of recidivism. This means that the fine for speeding was twice as much as the one assigned to this offence, the uniformed officer informed.
The driver was fined PLN 5,000 and 15 penalty points.
