For the first time since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, NATO, in a very confidential manner and without official announcements, has set at least two red lines that could lead to direct intervention in this conflict, according to the Italian daily “La Repubblica”.
According to the Rome newspaper, direct intervention by the Alliance could occur if Belarus joins Russia's war against Ukraine, or if Russia attacks one of the Baltic countries, Poland or Moldova.
The daily explains that for now there are no operational plans that would include sending troops, but possible crisis plans are being considered.
In this context, border lines were drawn along which third parties would be involved in the war in Ukraine, the newspaper noted
