Police officers in the Nasielsk commune eliminated illegal cannabis cultivation. They grew in pots and buckets. In turn, dried plants were hidden in jars and bags. They also found the grower on site.

A few days ago, police officers from Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki received information that there is an illegal cannabis plantation in one of the towns in the Nasielsk commune. They went to the site.

“They secured bushes and seedlings of this plant, as well as dried plants,” said Assistant Commissioner Joanna Wielocha from the District Police Headquarters in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki in a statement. They also found the grower on site. It turned out to be a 30-year-old resident of the Nasielsk commune.

During the search at the man's residence, the police found cannabis bushes and seedlings in pots and buckets, as well as dried plants hidden in jars and bags. “In total, a dozen or so cannabis bushes and seedlings were seized, as well as over 410 grams of dried plants,” the policewoman explained.

He heard the accusation

The police detained a 30-year-old man and the man was taken into police custody. He was charged with cultivating cannabis and possessing a significant amount of narcotic drugs in the form of marijuana. The District Prosecutor's Office in Pułtusk applied a preventive measure to the suspect in the form of police supervision.

For the crime committed, he faces a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
