MP Stefan Krajewski told PAP that the election campaign will be summarized at the meeting of the Supreme Executive Committee. – We will definitely talk about a possible list of common issues and some coalition arrangements – emphasized the PSL MP.

When asked how he assessed the fact that the KO National Board confirmed that Tusk was the party’s candidate for prime minister and whether PSL intended to nominate its candidate, Krajewski replied that “such issues will be decided on Monday.”

– We will definitely inform the media about it. It’s hard for me to say anything. For me, the natural candidate is WÅ‚adysÅ‚aw Kosiniak-Kamysz. But the coalition is about finding a compromise, finding a solution, and we will look for such a solution to end these various types of speculations as quickly as possible, whether they will reach an agreement or not, emphasized Krajewski.

– Just as we showed in the Third Way that we were able to climb beyond the divisions to the heights and bring the project to electionswe will continue to act so that we implement what we announced, what we talked about with Poles during the election campaign and that is what we are focusing on today – said the Party MP.

When asked whether PSL would be interested in taking over the ministries of economy and agriculture in the new government, Krajewski said: “We were responsible for this department in the previous government, as part of the coalition with the Civic Platform, either for the economy or for agriculture, we are not afraid of these challenges. But we realize realize that there are many ministries and we have specialists prepared to take up portfolios in various other ministries.

In response to the comment that the leader of Agrounia, MichaÅ‚ KoÅ‚odziejczak, who was also discussed in the context of a possible position in the Ministry of Agriculture, got into the Sejm from the KO list, and to the question whether PSL would “give up” this ministry, Krajewski replied: “We will definitely talk about it at meeting of the Supreme Executive Committee.

PSL president WÅ‚adysÅ‚aw Kosiniak-Kamysz, asked last Friday whether Trzecia Droga would support Donald Tusk’s candidacy for the prime minister’s office, replied that decisions on the shape of the coalition and personnel matters will be made on Monday by the PSL Supreme Executive Committee in contact with the electoral partner, Polska 2050. – I think that at the beginning of next week there will be concrete answers to the questions. First, we would like to ask the president not to delay in any way and not to risk selecting a candidate for prime minister who will not obtain a majority in the Sejm, Kosiniak-Kamysz noted.

Consultations at the Presidential Palace

On Tuesday and Wednesday – at the invitation of President Andrzej Duda – consultations with representatives of individual electoral committees that will be represented in the next Sejm will be held at the Presidential Palace. The meetings will be held separately with each of the election committees, in the order in accordance with the results achieved by these committees in the elections.

In the elections to the Sejm Law and Justice won 194 seats, Civic Coalition – 157, Trzecia Droga (PSL and Szymon HoÅ‚ownia’s Polska 2050) – 65, New Left – 26, Confederation – 18.
