In an electronic mail to employees despatched this morning, head of Xbox Sport Studios Matt Booty introduced the closure of a number of recreation studios together with Redfall developer Arkane Austin, Hello-Fi Rush developer Tango Gameworks, Alpha Canine Studios and extra. In accordance with the e-mail, as first reported by IGN, Booty wrote the explanation for the closures was on account of a “reprioritization of titles and assets”. Redfall developer Arkane “will shut with some members of the group becoming a member of different studios to work on initiatives throughout Bethesda,” says Booty. Redfall’s earlier replace might be its final as Microsoft is ending all growth on the sport.
