An earthquake in Podlasie, where PiS loses not only power but also councilors, and a test of strength and almost certain change in the Łódź region. These are the most interesting Tuesday games in the new provincial assemblies.

Podlaskie Voivodeship – the Third Way candidate was supported by some PiS councilors

He became the Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship Łukasz Prokorym from the Civic Coalition. In a secret ballot he received 16 out of 30 votes. Two PiS councilors joined the board as deputy marshals. However, he became the chairman of the regional council Cezary Cieślukowski from the Third Way. This is a real earthquake in the Podlasie local government, where Law and Justice has previously ruled undividedly.

In the secret ballot he got 16 votes. However, the current marshal of the voivodeship lost the vote. Artur Kosicki from PiS. He got 13 votes. All 30 councilors voted. There was one invalid vote. This is a huge surprise. In the new provincial assembly, PiS has 15 seats, the Civic Coalition – eight, Trzecia Droga – six, and KWW Konfederacja i Niepartyjni Samorządowcy – one.

He appealed to councilors “to work as hard as possible for Western Pomerania during this term.” He thanked the current voivodeship board and then asked for a break in the session until Thursday (noon) to complete the election of the voivodeship presidium, board members and chairmen of the voivodeship committees.
