After the end of the NATO summit in Vilnius, President Andrzej Duda declared that “if there was an attack on the Brzeska Gate, about 100,000 Alliance soldiers would be sent to our territory for immediate defense.” He also said that the language of the Alliance is changing in relation to Russia.
Wednesday was the second day of the NATO summit in Vilnius, attended by, among others, President Andrzej Dudapresident of the USA Joe Biden and the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. The event was hosted by the President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nauseda. The main topics of the summit were: Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, prospects for Kiev’s accession to the Alliance, and Sweden’s accession to NATO.
After the Alliance’s summit, President Duda said that the language of the Alliance is changing in relation to Russia. – Russia ceases to be a NATO partner to any extent, for many years it was called a NATO partner, for many years there were allies who strongly opted for including this name in NATO documents as a NATO partner – said the president.

The president also said that “it is estimated that if there was an attack on the Brzeska Gate, it could be counted that approximately 100,000 Alliance soldiers would be sent to our territory for immediate defence.”
– These are the assumptions that are being adopted at the moment and which have been approved by the Alliance as part of the defense plans – he added.
Andrzej Duda also announced that the National Security Council will be held on Thursday afternoon. It is due to start at 14:00.
