The driver of a passenger car showed a lack of imagination when he overtook the third car on provincial road number 560 in Oborki (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship). Only thanks to the quick and correct reaction of the Opel driver, there was no head-on collision.
According to the Provincial Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz, the incident took place on April 8 in the town of Oborki on provincial road No. 560, in the Brodnica poviat. The recording of this dangerous maneuver was posted to the police “Stop road aggression” box.

– The driver of a Hyundai car was overtaking “in third place”. In this way, he forced another road user to brake and pull over to the side of the road. Only thanks to the quick and correct reaction of the Opel driver, there was no head-on collision – said Deputy Commissioner Remigiusz Rakowski from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie police.

The driver must face the consequences
As Assistant Commissioner Rakowski emphasized, the driver faces a fine of PLN 2,000, and if the case goes to court, the fine may amount to up to PLN 30,000.
– This bravado is not only a lack of culture, but also a blatant violation of the regulations. We appeal for common sense and anticipating what may happen on the road. Everyone would like to end their journey with a safe return home. For this to happen, the established rules and regulations specified in the Road Traffic Act must be followed, the policeman appealed.
