The situation took place on Thursday after 9. A woman aged 21, 25 weeks pregnant, fainted in the street. Then, with the help of passers-by, she was taken to a local family medicine clinic.

– There, in the first place, she was helped by people working in the health center. Tests were performed, but the woman’s condition was deteriorating. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, and later a helicopter of the Polish Medical Air Rescue. Despite the rescue and resuscitation efforts, the woman could not be saved. We will explain whether there have been omissions on the part of healthcare professionals. An autopsy was performed on Saturday and the preliminary results will be announced on Monday. Then we will probably be able to say something more about the possible cause of death – informs Łukasz Wawrzyniak, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Poznań.
