Tragic accident on provincial road number 537 near Ostróda. A passenger car collided head-on with a truck. Two people died, a 28-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man. Their four-year-old daughter was taken to hospital.
The accident occurred on Thursday (May 9) in the afternoon on provincial road number 537 between Marwałd and Wygoda.
– The driver of an Opel passenger car, driving towards the town of Wygoda, on a straight section of the road, for unexplained reasons, drove into the opposite lane, as a result of which he collided with a truck with a semi-trailer traveling from the opposite direction – said Deputy Commissioner Michał Przybyłek from the District Police Headquarters in Ostróda.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the Opel, a 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old female passenger, died. Their four-year-old daughter traveled with the couple. She went to the hospital, her condition is stable.
The truck driver was sober.
