The electoral process is already dishonest because the campaign is dishonest. That is why the elections must be monitored, said PSL president Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVN24 in relation to the resolution adopted by the European Parliament. – We must supervise the elections here in Poland, we must win these elections ourselves, no one will win these elections for us – he stressed.
The European Parliament voted on the resolution on Tuesdayin which he criticized, among other things, the establishment in Poland of a verification commission for Russian influence, called “lex Tusk”, and the amendment to the electoral law.
He was a guest of “Piasecki’s Conversation” on Thursday Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, president of the Polish People’s Party. He was asked if he had concerns about the fairness of the electoral process in Poland.
– The electoral process is already dishonest because the campaign is dishonest. That is why the elections must be monitored, and that is why all democratic parties cooperate so that observers, trustees and commission members are present in every election commission. We have to watch the elections, he said.
“It’s not a concern, it’s an experience,” he added. – The goal for us on the pitch is set uphill, it is smaller and it is harder to hit it – said Kosiniak-Kamysz.

“Conscious decision” of PSL MEPs
Asked why then three MEPs PSL did not vote on the resolution, replied: “It’s a conscious decision.
– Because at the end it was written that the Commission should act by all means, taking money from Poland, limiting access to funds. And we never agree with that – explained the president of the PSL.
– We must supervise the elections here in Poland, we must win these elections ourselves, no one will win these elections for us. (…) I believe that you cannot put the matter in this way that someone will take money from Poland, he stressed.
