Paweł Kurtasz became the president of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency

The new president of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, Paweł Kurtasz, replaced Krzysztof Drynda, who was dismissed from the position of the head of PAIH in early December.

As the agency reported on Wednesday, “On January 10, PAIH’s Supervisory Board appointed Paweł Kurtasz as president of the board.” It was added that in accordance with the decision of the Supervisory Board, the new president will take up his position on January 23 this year. “Zdzisław Sokal and Piotr Dytko remain on the Agency’s management board” – it was indicated.

Paweł Kurtasz is a manager and a doctor of technical sciences, PAIH informed. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics and Computer Science of the Opole University of Technology, he is also a graduate of post-graduate studies Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Before assuming the function of the head of PAIH, Kurtasz was the vice-president of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, and before that he was, among others, president of INVEST-PARK DEVELOPMENT – a company that is part of the capital group of the Wałbrzych SEZ – it was announced. His hobbies include aviation and gliding.

As we read on the PAIH website, Kurtasz is also a co-founder and former president of the BSSTC.PL company dealing with air and road safety and ICT systems. He is also the president of the Collegium Nobilium Opoliense Educational Foundation, a non-profit organization.
