In the town of Polaki near Siedlce, the driver of a Belarusian bus lost control of the vehicle and fell into a roadside ditch. Five people were taken to hospital. There are traffic disruptions.
A serious accident occurred on national road number 2.
– A bus traveling from Gdańsk to Minsk in Belarus, for reasons currently unknown, left the road at a curve and fell into a ditch. Five people were taken to hospital. There are traffic disruptions on site that may last up to several hours. At this time, alternating traffic has been introduced – said Commissioner Ewelina Radomyska from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Siedlce.
In addition to the police, there are seven firefighters working on site. – There were 15 people traveling by bus. Five were injured. Fortunately, they were not serious, said Paweł Kulicki from the Siedlce fire brigade.
A bus was brought to the scene of the accident and the people evacuated from the bus were directed to it.
