President Andrzej Duda pardoned two former CBA agents convicted in the so-called land scandal – TVN24 found out. Earlier, Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik were convicted and then pardoned by the president in the same case. Former CBA agents were sentenced to one year in prison.

People to whom President Andrzej Duda applied the law of pardon were convicted of a crime under Art. 231 § 1 of the Penal Code and others, i.e. abuse of powers by a public official and others. Earlier, Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik were convicted and then pardoned by the president in the same case.

December 20, 2023 The District Court in Warsaw issued a final and final sentence two years in prison each for Kamiński and Wąsik, as former heads of the CBA, for their operational activities during the “land scandal” in 2007. – A crime was invented and then checked to what extent outsiders would be susceptible to committing it – said judge Anna Bator-Ciesielska in the justification for the final conviction.
