A renewed diplomatic row has damaged out between Colombia and Argentina over feedback made by President Javier Milei about his Colombian counterpart.

The outspoken Argentine chief referred to as President Gustavo Petro a “terrorist”, “assassin” and “communist” in a latest interview with CNN.

Colombia has retaliated by ordering the expulsion of Argentine diplomats from their embassy within the Andean nation.

“The Argentine president’s feedback have deteriorated the belief of our nation, along with offending the dignity of President Petro, who was democratically elected,” Colombia’s international ministry stated in a press release.

In January, Colombia recalled its ambassador to Argentina after related feedback from President Milei, who came into power in December.

He is called “the madman” by a few of his followers and leads a nation going through very excessive annual inflation and nationwide debt.
