On national road number 222 in the village of Rekcin (Pomeranian Voivodeship), a car collided with a bus. Four people were injured. Six fire brigades, rescuers and police worked on site.
The accident occurred around 7 a.m. in the village of Rekcin on provincial road No. 222. A passenger car collided with a bus. The press officer of the police in Pruszcz GdaÅ„ski, junior aspirant Karol KoÅ›ciuk, informed that both drivers were sober. – Preliminary findings show that when the driver of a passenger car in Rekcin was turning left onto a minor road, he was hit by a bus coming from the opposite direction – said the policeman.
The causes of the accident are being investigated.
The district fire brigade commander, junior brigadier Zbigniew Rzepka, said that the report showed that seven people were injured. – After arriving at the scene, it turned out that four people required medical attention. One of them was transported by an air ambulance helicopter – he explained.
The injured people were taken to hospitals.
