On November 29, Santander Bank Polska introduced a mortgage loan to its offer under the “Safe 2 percent loan” program, the bank announced in a statement. It was originally supposed to happen on November 20.

The bank announced that borrowers who meet the conditions will receive subsidies for loan installments for 10 years and may also benefit from a guarantee. own contribution. The offer will be available both in bank branches and mortgage brokers who cooperate with the bank.

Originally the bank was planning to launch a recruitment process applications on November 20, but the deadline was postponed.

From July 3, “safe 2% loans”, i.e. loans with state subsidies for installments, can be granted by banks that have concluded agreements with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego on this matter. Currently, 13 banks have signed agreements to offer loans with state support, including PKO, Pekao, mBank, Alior and BOŚ.

Safe loan 2 percent

The Act on State Aid in Savings for Housing Purposes, in force since July 1, introduced, among others, “Safe loan” with state subsidy for installments and a housing account with the possibility of obtaining a bonus from the state budget. “Safe loans” are to be granted until December 31, 2027 by banks that will conclude an agreement with BGK and introduce the product to their offer.

Pursuant to the “Safe Loan” Act, it may be granted for the first apartment. Its amount cannot exceed PLN 500,000. PLN or 600 thousand PLN if the borrower runs a household together with his or her spouse or has at least one child. The own contribution cannot be higher than PLN 200,000. zloty. If there is no own contribution or incomplete contribution, you can use the BGK guarantee.

The installment subsidy is valid for 10 years. During the period of application of the subsidies, the interest rate on the loan, according to explanations on the Ministry of Energy and Technology website, will be 2 percent for the borrower. plus margin, commission and other bank fees – if charged. If the borrower sells the apartment, rents it to another person or buys another property during the period when subsidies are due for installments, he or she will lose the right to subsidies, and the support obtained after this period will have to be returned.
