Serock. He started insulting the policemen and was arrested. Two men rushed to his rescue

A few days ago, police officers from Serock were called to a domestic intervention. The report showed that a 51-year-old man, under the influence of alcohol, was arguing with his partner. When they arrived in the street, they noticed an agitated man. They tried to talk to him and calm him down. Then insults and profanity were thrown at them. Despite the call to behave in accordance with the law, the man was still aggressive, did not follow the police officers’ orders and violated their bodily integrity, said Commissioner Justyna Stopińska from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Legionowo. As she added, the behavior of uniformed officers in this situation had to be firm and decisive. The 51-year-old was overpowered and arrested.

According to the police, two men rushed to the rescue of the detainee. “They began to yank and push the officers away. The policemen immediately called for support and after a few minutes the bloodthirsty “saviors” joined the detained colleague – added the policewoman.

All the men were arrested. The youngest of the aggressors – 19 years old – was sober. However, according to the police, the other two men, 51 and 29, smelled of alcohol. After collecting the evidence, the investigators from Serock presented the men with charges.

– The eldest of them will be charged with insulting and violating the bodily integrity of officers, while the other two will be charged with forcing police officers to abandon their official duties – Stopińska said in a statement.

Now three residents of the Serock commune will answer to the court for their actions. I am facing a penalty of up to three years in prison.

Activities in this case are carried out under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Legionowo.
