In the toy “Wooden cymbals with chopsticks” sold by the Sinsay network, small elements appear during use, which poses a threat to small children, informs the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK). The network has published a message regarding the withdrawal of the product from sale.

As we read in the message UOKiKLPP SA, the owner of the Sinsay brand, informed the office about the case. It is a toy ‘Wooden cymbals with drumsticks’, manufactured in China, with model number 7901R. “During use, small elements appear, which poses a threat to small children” – warns UOKiK.

Customers are asked to stop using the product and informed about the possibility of returning it.

UOKiK reminds that an entrepreneur who has received information that a product introduced by him on the market is not safe should immediately notify the office. Failure to comply with this obligation is subject to a fine of up to PLN 100,000.

Product return

As we read on the Sinsay website, the product purchased in the store can be returned in any stationary store of the brand. Customers who do not have a proof of purchase will be asked by staff to complete the appropriate form.

In the case of a product purchased in the online store, the return is possible after logging into the customer account. Then select the commands “return” or “complaint” and follow the instructions received by e-mail. People who bought a product online can also return the product in a stationary store.
