Winter weather prevailed in central and northern Spain. Snow fell there on Wednesday afternoon, making road conditions difficult. The streets were slippery and there were traffic jams. Sand plows took to the roads.
It also turned white in the Sierra Nevada mountains in Andalusia, which is located in the southern part of the country. 10 centimeters of snow fell there. People who go to these areas for Easter will be able to spend the holidays sledding or skiing.
Meteorological warnings
