The police detained 29-year-old Tomasz U., suspected of murdering two people and seriously injuring a third. The detainee is the son and grandson of the victims. He hasn’t been charged yet.
The tragedy happened on Saturday in Bąkowo (Podkarpackie Voivodeship). The information about the incident was confirmed by prosecutor Adam Cierpiatka from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Stalowa Wola. As he reported, the victims are 58-year-old Halina U. and 84-year-old Leonarda S. and her husband, 89-year-old Andrzej S.
The 58-year-old died on the spot, and the older couple was taken to the hospital, where Leonarda S. died. They all had head wounds inflicted with a sharp object
A 29-year-old was arrested
The prosecutor informed that on Sunday after 9 o’clock, the son and grandson of the victims, 29-year-old Tomasz U, were detained. The man fled the scene of the tragedy, he was wanted. Investigators have not yet revealed what preceded the tragedy in the house near Stalowa Wola. Actions are underway with the detainee. He was intoxicated at the time of his arrest.
– The prosecutor’s office qualifies it as an attempted and murder of many people. The perpetrator committed murder with a sharp instrument, Cierpiatka informed.
