A 30-year-old man who allegedly murdered his father's partner on the night from Friday to Saturday was sent to prison for three months at the request of the prosecutor's office. The woman died as a result of numerous knife blows. The suspect faces life imprisonment.
On Sunday, the District Prosecutor's Office in Starogard Gdański conducted activities involving a 30-year-old man suspected of murdering a 46-year-old woman, his father's partner. The prosecutor charged him with murder with direct intent.
After the hearing that took place on Sunday morning, prosecutor Wawryniuk announced that the man confessed to the murder and gave explanations. The 30-year-old pointed to a bad relationship with the woman who was his father's partner as the motive for his behavior.
On the same day, the prosecutor submitted a request to the court to arrest the suspect. The District Court in Starogard Gdański issued a decision on a three-month arrest.
The woman received numerous blows
The incident occurred on Friday before midnight in one of the houses in Starogard Gdański. According to investigators, the man struck the 46-year-old woman numerous times with a sharp instrument, as a result of which the woman died.
The 30-year-old faces up to life imprisonment for murder.
