Typhoon fighters will patrol Polish airspace, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said in Warsaw on Tuesday.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is visiting Poland on Tuesday. He met, among others, with the Polish head of government Donald Tusk, Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. In the afternoon, Sunak and Tusk met with the media.

“We are allies forever,” Rishi Sunak said in Polish. – We are great military powers that help Ukraine – he added. – There is a great bond between Poland and Great Britain that builds security – he continued.

– We will strengthen our cooperation in all formats so that we can cooperate on the most important aspects of air defense. We will also bring here Tajfun fighters, which will patrol Polish airspace, support Poland, and we will contribute to this. We also want to send 16,000 troops to support Great Britain, he said.
