He is the smallest premature baby in the history of the Zdroje hospital in Szczecin. – Then we needed an incubator, a ventilator. There were hearts of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity on them – recalls the girl’s mother.
Four years ago, the girl officially became the smallest premature baby born in the Zdroje hospital in Szczecin. Today, when everything is going well, Liliana’s parents – as they admit – don’t even remember the details that kept them awake at night a few years ago.
Liliana’s mom: I’m happy with what I have
– Then we needed an incubator, a ventilator. There were WOŚP hearts on them. Even specially, they brought equipment that was in the ward for about five days – recalls Magdalena Urbańska, the mother of a four-year-old, with difficulty.

The girl weighed 450 grams and measured 27 centimeters. As her mother says, “it fit in the palm of your hand”. Doctors had to fight for her health. And they were up to the challenge.
– The most important thing is that it’s going. I’m happy with what I have. She can do a lot. There are children who are born later, but they are in a worse condition than Lila – admits Magdalena.

A heart for Oats
Thursday Jerzy Owsiak visited the hospital Zdroje on the occasion of the opening of a new, state-of-the-art magnetic resonance laboratory, created, among others, by thanks to the support of the WOŚP.
Liliana’s parents took the opportunity to thank the head of the Orchestra. For this occasion, they prepared a special heart made of buttons, which the girl gave to Owsiak.
