At the same time, he added that “we don't have enough details about who is to blame, why, what the condition of the horse was.” – There is definitely a problem whether all welfare conditions were met in terms of access to water, or also a problem related to the burden in relation to his capabilities. All this requires stating that we do not have enough details, we will certainly analyze the problem thoroughly – he assured.

Horses at Morskie Oko

Viva! Foundation he has been fighting with for years using horses to transport tourists over Morskie Oko. According to a report published by the foundation in the fall of 2023, animals carry about a ton more than they can carry, and they endure this “work” on average for three years.

According to Viva! A tragic fate befalls animals withdrawn from work. “As a result of many years of investigation, we collected shocking data on the work of horses on the route to Morskie Oko. When I first summarized them, I checked them three times to make sure there were no errors. Because I couldn't believe that so many horses from Morskie Oko Oka was caught by the slaughterhouse, especially since drivers have been saying for years that they treat horses better than their wives… Unfortunately, 61 percent of the horses withdrawn from work on the route A were sent to the slaughterhouse! This means that the PR texts of Fiacres and the Tatra National Park about the wonderful life of these animals can only be considered fairy tales,” Anna Plaszczyk said in September 2023.
