Donald Tusk has undoubtedly shared power and it was visible yesterday – this is how Arleta Zalewska from “Fakty” TVN assessed the Friday meeting of the leader of the Civic Coalition with future ministers. – There are interesting names in Tusk’s government. Those that are supposed to attract attention – said Klaudiusz Slezak, a journalist from Radio Nowy Świat.
On Friday, the leader of the Civic Coalition and the candidate of the parliamentary majority for prime minister Donald Tusk met with members of his future government. After about an hour of talks, Tusk appeared at a press conference. He spoke, among other things, about the first decisions that his new government intends to make after being sworn in.
On Monday Mateusz Morawiecki will present an expose to the Sejm with a request for a vote of confidence in the government. If he does not get it – and the PiS club has 191 MPs, which does not give a majority – the initiative in the matter choice the prime minister and the government will be taken over by the Sejm – the coalition of KO, Third Way and the Left has the majority, 248 MPs. The vote on Tusk’s appointment as prime minister is to take place on the same day.

Arleta Zalewska from “Fakty” TVN and Klaudiusz Slezak from Radio Nowy Świat talked about Tusk’s new government on Saturday on TVN24.
Arleta Zalewska said that “this part of the government from the Civic Coalition is Donald Tusk’s original idea.” – Before we heard about some names, we would not have assigned, for example, Izabela Leszczyna to the Ministry of Health or Barbara Nowacka for education, and Adam Szłapka for European affairs – she added.
– When it comes to a broader perspective, Donald Tusk divided the ministries. He had to do it, he also had to give up the position of Speaker of the Sejm (to the Third Way), because that was the condition. Without a doubt, he shared this power and it was visible yesterday – said the journalist of “Fakty” TVN.

– There are interesting names in Donald Tusk’s government, those who are probably supposed to attract attention and they do. For example Radosław Sikorski, (…) or Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz. Perhaps it is a matter of a few months when these gentlemen will fulfill their mission and will be changed into completely different faces – said Klaudiusz Slezak.
He added that “he is also curious about Izabela Leszczyna at the Ministry of Health.” – The Ministry of Health will always be a hot potato, no matter who holds this position. Everyone will be at risk because there is big money there, pharmaceutical companies, and on the other hand, patients. It will always be a very difficult ministry – emphasized the journalist of Radio Nowy Świat.
