Ukraine’s ambassador to France said in an interview with BFM television that allied countries had promised to give Kiev 321 heavy tanks. Vadym Omelchenko, however, did not specify from which countries such weapons would go to Ukraine.
“As of today, my country has confirmed contracts to receive 321 heavy tanks,” the ambassador said Ukraine Vadym Omelchenko in France in an interview for BFM television.
– Although delivery times vary depending on the type of tank and country of production, we need this help as soon as possible. If we wait until August or September, it may be too late.
“Also, the terms of delivery differ in each case,” Omelchenko said. “We understand that each country must work out its logistics to send such aid and then plan to replenish its stocks.”
