US Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas visited the Korczowa border crossing on Thursday, where he met with, among others, Polish border guards. “Defending borders and deterring is the strongest message we can send to avoid future aggression,” he said.

He noted that he plans to meet refugees from Ukraine. – You have to be here and see how the alliance works. I would love to talk to refugees, I would love to hear stories that I would then pass on to the American people,” he said.
“The commitment of the United States in aid will continue in order to end this war as soon as possible in the future,” he stressed.
