On Monday, Page Six released a statement in which actress Sofia Vergara and her husband Joe Manganiello announced that their marriage was coming to an end. “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people who love and care for each other very much, we kindly ask you to respect our privacy as we enter a new phase of our lives,” the statement read.

The portal reports that the star of the series “Modern Family” is currently in Italywhere he celebrates his 51st birthday with a group of friends. The American media pointed out that the actress is not accompanied by her husband, nor does she wear a wedding ring. A source told Page Six said the relationship had been in crisis for some time, with “Sofía and Joe gradually drifting apart to consider their future.” The couple was last seen together last month in Hoboken, New Jersey. Then Vergara visited the 46-year-old Manganiello on the set of his new film “Nonnas”.
