There were no other people in the office of the then police commander, General Jarosław Szymczyk, when the grenade launcher exploded. These are new findings by investigators after the incident in December 2022. The investigation into this case is being conducted by the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw.
It is known that investigators secured monitoring located in the building of the Police Headquarters. RMF FM journalists determined that the key was the recording of the camera located at the door of the corridor leading to the police chief's office and adjacent rooms.
According to experts' opinions and witness testimonies, Jarosław Szymczyk was alone in his office when the grenade launcher exploded. Thus, investigators disproved the thesis that someone else could have fired the grenade launcher.
Explosion at the Police Headquarters
In mid-December 2022 there was an explosion in the building of the Police Headquarters. The gift was a gift from one of the heads of the Ukrainian services,” the ministry said in a statement. The commander was then hospitalized.
Last September, senator of the Civic Coalition, Krzysztof Brejza, revealed photos that are supposed to document what happened eight months ago in the building of the Police Headquarters.
I am revealing the most closely guarded secret of the PiS state. These photos were never intended to see the light of day.
