Similar information is provided by the police.

Senior captain Hnatulski reports that firefighters carried out 107 interventions last night. – These were primarily garbage fires or burning firecracker boxes. We have no knowledge of any incidents in which they would have been injured, the firefighter said. He emphasized that New Year’s Eve was “extremely calm”:

– Almost every night we have 60-70 events requiring our actions. Compared to them, New Year’s Eve was obviously more intense. It should be noted, however, that in recent years New Year’s Eve nights involved the need to carry out 150 or even 200 interventions.

“No pyrotechnics events”
