On Sunday afternoon, at the Dworzec Gdański stop, they extinguished the tram. The fire appeared on the wheel arches of a new Hyundai vehicle. Firefighters said no one was hurt.
– On Słomińskiego Street, the brake discs of the tram overheated. It looked dangerous only because the plastics, the so-called wheel arches, were on fire – told us a senior midshipman Bogdan Smoter from the capital’s fire brigade.
He noted that the tram could not continue with passengers. – However, there were no casualties. There were four hosts and an operational group on site – he summed up.
